Just kidding; PS2
Just kidding; PS2
You nearly drove your fanboy to suicide tbh. Was it worth it?
I like PS2. What's most important to me in a gaming system is the ability to play Vice City and San Andreas tbh.
Ps2 is an amazing system tbh, probably the best gaming console of all time.
Bought this not long ago to play on my 360:
With that said, it's the 3rd system i've played the GTA trilogy on after PC and PS2, i think i may have a problem
Would try the mobile versions if i didn't have such a piece of phone
Playing GTA 3 on my Windows XP box was the back in the day. Especially with Odie's Stunt Park (RIP, a is dead )
Funny thing is phones today make GTA look so much better than they did on PS2. I have GTA3 for Android.
That sounds bad playing GTA on a portable device. I remember I bought a PSP specifically to play GTA and it was so ty playing on that little screen I rooted the mother er and put an NES emulator and a bunch of roms on instead. Ninja Gaiden and Super Mario were much more fun to play on such a small device.
gaming pc's are like cars. you invest in them you arent gonna get that money again. the second you get it its value is already down.
anyways im interested in building a htpc. anyone have experience in dis ?
Not HTPC specifically, but it's no different. They're just slim line components..

There are a few extras on that build you may not need.
Don't the newer AMD chipsets blow intel away as far as onboard video at way less? I was gonna get one for my daughter's comp for christmas
Why would anyone put a $180 Core i5 into a PC for watching movies and ? A $70 Pentium G3258 gives more than enough for an HTPC, runs really cool so no loud ass fan noise, and doesn't use a lot of power.
I'm not sure about the performance, but general rule is AMD is better in cost/performance ratio. I just stick with Intel though. For an HTPC, AMD would be just fine IMO.
These are the extras I referred to in the OP. If it's strictly movies, then a downgrade wouldn't matter.
Also, for an HTPC I'd spend the extra $100 and put a 4TB hard drive in, as you'd be surprised how quickly 1080p porn can fill up your storage tbh.
Yeah i stick with intel too mostly, but the cost on the AMD is too hard to pass up for my daughter's system. Been happy with my i5 2500k but the HDMI port is loose now so I finally bought a gfx card for the first time in years - r7 250x for $75 from the circuit city storefront on amazon
For $800, you can build a high end gaming PC now. There's no need to resell it considering it will be a solid machine 3-4 years down the road. If you're worried about $800 depreciating to $400 maybe get a better job or a hobby that doesn't ask you to spend money occasionally.
I'd use the latest atom CPU for a HTPC, like 5 watts or something, doesn't even need a fan
So I'm having buyer's remorse with those dual an Z's. $6000 down the drain and I'm still dropping frames left and right in AC Unity.
baseline bum did u really went out and bought 2 an z? wtf u clown
.. You need a ing super computer to max Ubisoft crap these days.
I still can't believe an Black's were $1000 a few months ago and now a $350 GTX 970 gets 95% of the performance. LOL buying the highest end Nvidia cards ever. I can't believe people pay $550-$650 for the GTX 980 right now when it's like 8% more powerful than the 970 and everyone knows Nvidia has a true flagship Maxwell coming out in the next month or two.
Yeah, I want to get one of the new series of cards. They've milked this architecture dry.
