The PAc 12 is compe ive in almost every sport.
And they keep some academic standards.
This is why UT was closer to joining this conference more than any other during the big shakeup.
Also the warmer weather sports.
The SEC did really well in bowl games for years until this year.
The Pac-12 has been a close second the past two seasons.

Yep, that's true.
With the Pac12 winning the Heisman, going 6-2 in bowl games and winning the National Championship, I think it's safe to say 2014 belonged to the Pac12.
What seperates the Pac12 from everyone else is QB play. Far more great Pac12 QB's than any other conference.
So it all comes down to the west coast and the midwest. What will the south/Texas be doing, hahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I guess they are left with....
See see the SEC sucks.
See see The Big12 sucks.
Hahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!
Best QB...Pac12
Best running back....Big10

It's all about this season, right?
Let;s talk a little Oregon.
The school once ran footballers......
Jerry Tarr...Mike Gaecher....Mel Renfro...and non footballer Harry Jerome a Candain legend in the 4x1 relay, they set a world record. Which is rare for a college team, usually it takes a National team. All three of those footballers played in the NFL.
The school has always had a lot of speed, guys like Sammie Parker, Pat Johnson, DeAnthony Thomas, Latin Berry, Dino Philyaw, LaMichael James, JJ Birden, Amos Marsh...all ran track.
We'll see a dramatic difference in team speed when the Ducks take n Ohio St, it will jump off the tv screen at ya.
Just think if the Seahawks win another SB the Pacific NW will have both Champions.
Tell that to the guys who have won one, good luck.
John David Crow is like 75, there it is doing commercials because he won a Heisman back in the 50's. Now think.

Which makes what we did this year with pathetic QB play even more incredible. If we had even a middle of the road QB this year we're in the le hunt.
Having 4 QB's ranked in the top 12 is pathetic?
So who out there has Ohio St beating Oregon? Let's see it now not after the game, ok?

Mark Brunell played his college ball in Seattle, WA at UW and not on the Paloose for Washington State.
The Utes had 4 QB's ranked in the top 12? Damn, that's news to me.
I can give you a school or two that has more heismans than any Pac-12 school.
Are you sure the Pac-12 has the most heismans. It would be interesting to see your tally of heismans by conference.
It wasn't real obvious what I was doing there?
The Ducks losing another receiver, not good.
I'm starting to doubt Oregon.
Once they lost another receiver and I started thinking about Urban Myer in big games I changed my mind on the game. So I grabbed that 6.5 and decided to make some $$$$$.
After the ease with which FSU moved the ball on Oregon, I took OSU straight up at +165.
That being said, I was rooting for the Ducks so didn't put enough on the game to change who I wanted to win.
I never play this stupid want one team to win but the other to cover, will never do that again. The first three quarters it;s score score Ohio State then it became...come on Oregon.....yep, stupid.
I did come around to thinking about the Urban Myer factor in the game. And that was really why I took the points. He was by far the better coach.
The thing about Ohio State is they are a young team.
Money is money. The fact that I wanted the Ducks to win doesn't change the fact that I didn't think they would. Putting a few bucks on OSU offsets the marginal disappointment I have with the Ducks losing.
If I had felt strongly enough about the game to put big $ on it, then at that point, it's all about the money and rooting for the team I bet on.
Oh look. Another Avante curse thread.
