WASU - Tim Rosenbach and Ryan Leaf may have been better college QBs than Bledsoe and Rypien

Washington - Billy Joe Hobert won a national le.

    USC - Rodney Peete?

UCLA - Cade McNown was a monster as well

Oregon - Joey Harrington almost led them to the le game

I listed all the Hall of Famers and Heisman winners. That's why I didn't list Stabler. I did at first but I took him off.

    You're right about Canon.

I like how you change the argument, is it USC or the PAC 12? Just like the Big 12 doesn't match up with the PAC when it comes to QBs the Pac doesn't match up to the Big 12 when it comes to Running backs. Outside of USC there isn't much to offer.

    The Big 12 has

    Texas
    Earl Campbell
    Ricky Williams
    Cedric Benson
    Jamal Charles
    Eric Metcalf
    Tommie Ford
    Chris Gilbert
    Roosevelt Leaks
    James Saxton

    Oklahoma
    Adrian Peterson
    Billy Simms
    Marcus Dupree
    Greg Pruitt
    Joe Washington
    Steve Owens
    Mike Gaddis

    Oklahoma State
    Barry Saunders
    Thurman Thomas
    Lynn Waldorf

    TCU
    Ladanian Tomlinson
    Kenneth Davis
    Jim Swink

    Kansas
    Gale Sayers
    John Riggins

    KSU
    Lynn ey
    Darren Sproles

    Texas Tech
    James Gray
    Bam Morris
    Byron Handspare

    Baylor
    Walter Abercrombie

    ISU
    Troy Davis

    West Virginia
    Steve Slaton
    Noel Devine

And an EDIT for QBs as TCU also prduced Davey OBrian the namesake of the top QB award.

Where the PAC12 is weak is with wide receivers. Which is a bit surprising since no conference throws it around like the PAC12. No need for a list because it's not all that impessive.

The only PAC12 wide receiver up their in the all time stats is Stanfords James Lofton, a track guy(27 foot long jumper)

As we all know Lynn Swann does not belong in the HOF, especially if Cliff Branch isn't there.

At no position do we see so many small schools guys excell than at wide receiver.

Gotta love those Avante moving targets. So now it's 1000 yard rushers in the NFL? Why not Heisman winners NFL HOF? Why only 1000 yard rushers. how about Pro Bowls? 1000 yard rushers? why not high school lettermen.

No moving targets just showing you that the PAC12 has had more "quality" running backs than the Big12. No it's not......other than USC, not much....at all, as you saw.

This thread is about the PAC12, you seem to be struggling with that.

No dumbass, the NFL outside of pro bowls and HOF is not part of this discussion. I'd consider your argument about 1000 yard rushers for those guys that are still in the game but lets be honest this is college football and all that really matters is how they did at this level.

I can add a of a lot more guys from both Texas and Oklahoma if all were talking about is NFL 1000 yard rushers You forget Texas and Oklahoma for most of their existence were primarily running programs.

I'm interested in true greatness and the Pac doesn't have it.

First of all cool this...dumbasss...bull , ok? You're the one telling me..."other than USC, not much"....you have any idea how stupid that was? Let me guess....nope!

Trust me little man, when it comes to sprinters/running backs/receivers you won't be telling me a damn thing...ok? That is my pet, I have it 100% covered....ok?

The PAC12 has more quality running back than the Big12 has had, that is a fact and really not even debatable. , I didn't even mention Jackie Robinson UCLA.

Last time USC played Oklahoma...55-19, last time USC played Texas, Texa gets a TD with Youngs knee on the ground. Texas 41-USC 38.

    Greatness...haha!!!!!

Oh yeah, all the NFL 1000 yard rushers from Texas/Oklahoma have already been mentioned.

USC's speed on D kept the win for them against Standford last year. The new up-tempo offense will give Stanford fits. They don't have Skov and the other DL whose name has escaped. This isn't an Oregon fast break offense because it has bigger receivers and a smashing run game that will help. It is a road game and there may be a dulling of the emotion that fueled them last week. I'll go USC 28 - Stanford 20.
