Insert Franklin and drop Daye.
Wouldn't be the worst idea if Franklin could can consistently guard PGs like Green can. However, I'd like to see Anderson's ability to play the offensive point at this level before giving him that role over Joseph.
Insert Franklin and drop Daye.
Franklin initiated the offense his Jr year at SDSU, so he's a bit more than a defensive specialist. Despite have no real jump shot, he consistently got into the paint to create or draw contact. He averaged 6.8 FTAs per game that season.
Did the same in the D-League last season.
Suprs love them some big playmaking guards.
If Chip can fix his shot he can be a nice addition.
If he can get to the rim and play defense, but isn't a great shooter, I'd still be interested. If Chip thinks he can help him at all with his shot, he'd be a very good prospect to have.
He's with the Laker affiliate in the DLeague now:
If the Spurs don't keep Green for the rest of the season, I hope they give Franklin a look.
