I just want to know why a Cardinals fan would cry. I can understand if you're a fan of the Mariners, Padres, Brewers, Rangers, or Rockies or some other ringless team but the Cardinals? 19 NL pennants and 11 championships not enough for you?

I think that KC has a lot of fans because of the time (1985) since their last playoff appearance. I'll root for

I just can't get into this years league playoffs with the teams in it. I have never rooted for any of these
teams and for the most part ,well I just don't care who wins. I guess without at least 1 or 2 of the glamor teams
it just doesn't have the flash..
Are you ting me? These have been some of the better postseason games of the past decade. The lack of Yankees/Red Sox has been great; only wish the Giants and Cards were eliminated earlier/didn't qualify.

watching because of the Cinderella story of KC. That's the hook that's getting people to watch.....If KC loses the excitement
is gone....

Tigers were severely flawed. Everyone knew they were in trouble due to their awful bullpen which is so vital in the playoffs. The Angels didn't choke. The Royals are just built really well for the playoffs with their starting pitching, defense, base-running, and bullpen. Their offense is the only suprising thing this playoffs. Its not choking when losing to a team extremely difficult to beat in a playoff series. How many teams in the playoffs have better starting pitching, defense, bullpen, and base-running?
Its good for the game when new teams enter the playoffs or otherwise it becomes stagnant. Seeing the same ole, same ole gets boring.
