re ed GNSF getting all pissy because it's October and no one is talking about his Red Sox and that rivalry with NY no one in 2014 cares about any more.

at you thinking you're doing anyone else a favor by making a WC standings thread.. without actually posting them on the thread. You ing quack.
Like now you have a choice of what threads you want to view. 887 people clicked on the standings thread since August for a quick look at where the teams were.
I am going to let you have the last word here because I'm not going to muck up this thread because of some petty attempt at trolling.

The game in KC has been postponed tonight .

Was really looking forward to see Guthrie pitch. Had a good feeling about him.

I really hope the Royals close it out at home. I'd love to see them be the American League Marlins.

Nice cliched callback by Joe Buck on the Ishikawa home run.

I've got an impending $50 bet with the Giants to win the WS at 25/1 in July.

I'm rooting for the Royals but the Giants shirts are the truth. Since 2010, they own the NL.

The Cards are literally the Giants in the postseason. They can only win the NL when the Giants aren't in the playoffs.

Their fluky ass breaks haven't really been working since 2011.

Yost vs Bochy is a huge managing mismatch, as was Leyland-Bochy 2 years back.

Supposedly Yost versus Showalter was supposed to be a huge mismatch. That didn't work out so well for the Orioles.

The Giants can't exploit the Royals since the Royals do most things better. The only reason the Giants win is because other teams beat themselves just like the Tigers did two years ago. The Royals aren't gonna beat themselves. Lets see if the Royals lose a game first before proclaiming the Giants winning this series.

The TV ratings for the first 2 games of the world series is the lowest ever. Even though
there is a large number of people are rooting for KC it's not enough to draw TV viewers to the games.

Royals don't have a national fan base due to their losing in the last 20 years. Teams like the Yanks, Sox, and Dodgers have a huge fan base across the country. Also the ratings for the World Series have been in decline since the end of the steroid era. Americans are fat and easily bored. They don't appreciate great pitching it defense.

Going to 7 game will increase the TV ratings. The mo now seems to be with the Royals now with
playing is KC. The Royals have to be the fan favorite because how long it has been since they were here.
