    I think Patterson knew his defense was gassed and couldn't stop Baylor, but I agree. They should have just played the field position game and hoped for the best. TCU played so well for the first three and a half quarters. Strange to see Baylor wear a team down.

    Maybe I heard it wrong, but I could have sworn Briles went for it on 4th and 16 in the first quarter. That was legendarily stupid, and they spent a lot of time putting their defense in a bad position before the whole team woke up with ten minutes to go.

    Patterson just saw Baylor go 90+ yards in a minute two straigt drives, he knew his defense was gonna give up a score whether he punted or not. He went for the win and it was the right call. The bull no-call and even bigger bull PI is what gave the game to Baylor.
