Quit it with James. He couldn't get Colombia past the quarter finals so he's automatically out of the question and he didn't play so amazingly either. I would've gone with Robben and then with Neuer. The first argentine I would've picked is Mascherano, even though he didn't play to well in the finals.

It's just a lot tougher for players like James, or even Missi playing in these tournaments... unlike in Europe where they're constantly protected, refs in South America allow grabbing and pulling and let players get away with it, tbh

Yeah, one thing Sabella did right was emphasize defense on that Argentina team, which has always been the weak point. Coaches with Argentina get mesmerized with the offensive talent and it's a terrible mistake.
