That was so bad ass. I understand why the Cowboys had to let him go, but he'll always be one of my favorite players.

We are looking at a Denver vs Indy and a Packers vs Cowboys Championship games, if injuries don't spoil things.
On the NFC side, you could be right about that, but it's so early. The Cowboys have been really good because they're finally playing smart football, but I don't know that they're a great team yet. Having a punishing running game is great for so many reasons, but I'm not convinced it's enough to beat complete teams. I think we'll know more about them after the Arizona game. They're getting really timely turnovers and their tackling has been superb. Don't know if that makes up for not being able to cover receivers. Brandon Carr was the second-worst starting corner in the league, and that's before Morris Claiborne got hurt.

Despite the changing faces, it's incredible that the same teams continue to rule the AFC as they've done for most of the past 15 years: Patriots, Colts, Ravens, Broncos, and Chargers. If the Steelers get their act together the circle will be complete
Brady & Bill have made a killing off the AFC East cupcakes.

Steelers/Ravens was the top matchup for a good half decade

Denver signed Peyton. If it were the Niners instead, they'd be hanging banners

you got moxie as a Lions fan...Don't quite trust Stafford though. D is solid. Getting through the likes of GB (again), Eagles, and the likes will be tough. But it would be cool to see the Lions finally win one.

As Lions fan I don't take anything for granted for obvious reasons but one day we will get one... I mean... Lions cannot spend their entire nfl existence without winning one... over the course of so many seasons, stars will be aligned at least once...

    2015 will be the year...

    Being realistic about the Lions

    5-2

    beat Falcons 6-2
    beat Dolphins 7-2
    lose at Cards 7-3
    lose at Pats 7-4
    beat Bears/Buc's/Vikes...10-4
    lose..??? at Bears....10-5?
    lose at Packers...10-6

    11-5 very realistic.

    NFL
praying the Broncos lose half their roster before the playoffs, like last year
    every game is a "shootout"
Von is back, >> JJ Watt
Demarcus Ware being " past his prime"
    best WR in the NFL
    best TE in the NFL
    Peyton Manning at QB
    Peyton coaching and playing simultaneously

    Seahawks are finished
    fluke SB win
coincidentally declined as the NFL introduced HGH testing
    4Decliners
    Ghazi
    Cowboys beating mediocre teams
    Demarco Murray ticking time bomb
    San Diego Clippers
Green Bay regular season team with Dom Capers and McCarthy as coaches
A team with Nick Foles at QB
A team with Andy Dalton and Marvin Lewis
    New England's offensive "weapons"
Baltimore and Indy are cute teams, but let's be real, tbh
getting absolutely obliterated and embarrassed and losing homefield throughout the playoffs

Broncos have 1, maybe 2 difficult games remaining on the schedule..they're a virtual lock for the #1 seed..

They were due for a letdown game, especially on the road against a solid team..

In your opinion, is Sanders so good that he warrants 12+ targets every game? Also, why is Tamme so involved?

Yeah, the amount of targets to Tamme was astonishing.

Yes, Sanders is that good, and I have no idea what's going on with Tamme/Julius..Broncos fans are all wondering about what happened to JT's role since his early season historic dominance..

Welker is the only problem on offense, tbh..

15+ targets good? That just doesn't make sense to me. If he's open enough for that many targets its probably for a reason, no?

i dno about 15+, but Sanders is pretty damn good. he caught my eye in Pitt but they misused him like crazy. he's got some serious quickness and gets in and out of his cuts as good as anybody, but unlike welker/edelman he can consistently run deeper routes.

Pitt basically used him as a fly route specialist, and Ben's lack of ability to let the ball go quickly hurt Sanders, while benefitting elite deep threats like Antonio Brown, Mike Wallace, etc

That doesn't make any sense, this isn't basketball..

Why would an NFL defense leave a player wide open?..

I haven't heard anybody complaining about Manning forcing the ball to Sanders, he really hasn't..Welker is literally the only player that Manning feels obligated to throw to, for whatever reason..
