At this point when France lose a WC final it's like the end of the world... Germany played what ? 8 finals and won 4 and when they don't play a final they are in semi final. I mean each year a German knows his team is gonna reach at least a semi-final, worst case quarter... not sure what it is sad about that
There has to be some kind of frustration on having such a low sucess rate on important matches. Don't get me wrong I would love to have that kind of problem but still...

I mean zizou ing up a WC means probably no chance for me to see another WC trophy during my lifetime, for a German the max he has to wait is an average of 8 years.
and considering the amount of pain Germany did to France I have a hard time thinking about those suckers being sad. For Brazilian it is different they have the 7-1 at home to digest

Great to have success by advancing far in a tournament but sad to lose that often, happens when you play a good amount of important/final matches. I take it over sucking like England.
tbh, if you're a fan of River Plate, Argentina NT (soccer, basketball, etc), Barça and the Spurs, you should have little to complain about... at least you're certainly living at the right point in time...
