it's not only the missing guys, Duncan has been playing like 10 mins if at all... I'm hoping Friday we see some more stable playing time

I think Cotton is under contract... Chinook would know more... I think they'll go to the Toros soon, but considering we're shorthanded right now, we might keep some guys around.
They deserved it too.
I thought his contract was IF he makes the team.
Cotton has a partial guarantee. That is a tool to get a player to sign with one team over another, knowing they'll likely be cut anyway. That partial guarantee is probably more money than he will make with the Austin club this year, so it's kind of a way to skirt the d-league salary structure.
Interesting that Pop brought Kyle off the bench for 17 minutes tonight, to see if he could still produce. He did. Also interesting that 17 minutes is about what Kawhi WON'T be playing each game.
