This season his defense is letting him down and Graham isn't the same, only a fool wouldn't see that. He's still one of the top 4 QB's in the league.
Everyone but Saints fan knew they weren't contenders this season. Investing most your money into a TE, especially one as bullheaded as Graham was an obvious poor move.

Niners are a mediocre team as well. They're way more gimmicky than the Saints. And the Saints would have finished 2nd in the West last year.
