those ers. I just bought the fire TV a month or so ago for $99. But I'll get one of these for $19 for the bedroom TV.

I just use the free Amazon app for iPad and stream it to my TV.
i do that too but it's still a pain to skip ahead

kodi runs sweet on these just watched ufc in pretty close to hi def the other night for $0.
I tried that google chromecast when my homeboy ordered it. It sucks. So you can stream YouTube Netflix and some other ??? So ing what.
Been doing this with laptops for years. Plus laptops are better cause you can do a lot more with it.

I have Kodi on the Firetv stick and I can get a of plug-ins and functionality that you get on a laptop. You can even run emulators and roms. It's a powerful little thing if you know how to take advantage of it.
Dude the Fire Stick loaded with Kodi ain't no ing Chromecast it literally gets everything any movie tv show live sports live streaming channels etc. fire sticks were on sale a few days ago for $24.95 i picked up 10 of them.

Then look up Kodi while you're at it.

Use the Pulsar or Genesis plugin to watch 1080P movies of all kinds of movies including new releases.
Use the Vdubt25 plugin to watch channels from all over the world.
Use Sports Devil plugin to watch live sports from all over the world.
Then there's thousands of plugins for everything ranging from do entaries and porn and everything in between.
All for a little $25-30 stick doing the same that a laptop does when it comes to that kind of stuff.

for movies tv sports and live streaming channels yes it absolutely can. they are $40 now but thats a steal. once yo ulearn how to program a stick doing a new one takes you 15-20 mins. they also have paid addons that give you up to 700 live streaming tv channels (a lot are international) 40 adult channels all hbo cinemax showtime etc $80 per year. but you can find a lot of them free.

Well that sounds cool. But my review is of the chromecast out the box. It said you can install all the available apps. Which were about 50. Out of this 50 about 30 are aapps like Christian radio or some like that. Out of the remaining 20 over half you need subscriptions to. HBO, etc. So basically you can only YouTube, Netflix Spotify that

You can't put kodi or xbmc on roku but you can on fire tv
Damnit..other than that, the Roku has been a nice new gadget on the living room.

Just play around with it. There's no actual way to up your device since all you're doing is sending a program from your computer to the device.

What's the minimum requirement for internet speed for HD games? The reason why I hate streaming online is because every now and then it will lag..Rarely it happens but it does happen.
