When a studio says it and screens a movie for critics and releases the embargo on reviews 3+ weeks before the damn movie is released you know they have "Jordan in the 4th qtr" confidence in their product.
The only thing that worries me is fatigue from the Russo's. It's a proven Achilles heel for directors crafting masterpiece one after the other. Part of me wishes they took a year off but they're already starting production for Infinity Wars 1 & 2 this month. I just hope they're not burnt out only to disappoint at the most important movie in the slate.
They'll be fine. They learned their lesson on BvS. I think Justice League will kill it.
Have you seen the plot for the JL? It is the EXACT same as B v S
I think it helps that there are two guys directing and not just one guy with everything on his shoulders. Of course that didn't help the Wachowskis but it may help these guys from getting burnt out on these huge projects since they can split the work.
Yeah I'll be going first week on this one.
I may wait til FX to see batman v supes
GOTG a bunch of no name heroes fighting against a bunch of no name monsters
why cant they do the same with hulk: world at war?
Former BATMAN Michael Keaton In Early Talks To Play The Villain In SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING
Marvel Studios & Sony Pictures officially unveiled Spider-Man: Homecoming as the official le of their next Spider-Man film late last night at CinemaCon and sixteen hours later, we have some potentially major casting news.
According to Variety, Academy Award-nominee Michael Keaton (Spotlight), remembered by many as The Dark Knight in the two Tim Burton-directed Batman films, is currently in very early negotiations to play the villain in the upcoming Spidey reboot. Details on the role in question were not provided, but if a recent rumor is to be believed, he could be in talks to play Adrian Toomes a.k.a. The Vulture. However, there have also been rumors suggesting the film could utilize multiple villains, so he could possibly turn out to be the Marvel Cinematic Universe's version of Norman Osborn, Mysterio, Scorpion, or even J. Jonah Jameson. Nothing is confirmed just yet, so we'll have to wait and see.

Jon Favreau Confirms Return To The Marvel Cinematic Universe
http://www.comicbookmovie.com/avenge...marvel-a139688The Jungle Book looks set to be Favreau's biggest movie to date, and while a sequel is reportedly already in development, the filmmaker is returning to the MCU considerably sooner than anyone expected.
"I'm going to be executive producing the Avengers films with the Russo brothers, which I'm very excited about," Favreau told Digital Spy recently. "I talk to them about it all the time. I've worked both in front of and behind the camera with Marvel and I really love what they're doing right now. It's a really exciting time to be over there. I've seen a rough cut of Civil War and it's fantastic. We're constantly looking for things to do together. And now I'm freed up."
good, favreau set the tone with ironman, which is basically the film that launched the MCU full throttle
By the way, Marvel has confirmed RDJ will play in Spiderman : homecoming
