I thought about it. I just don't care that much. But if it takes another two weeks, I might have to.
yeah it's a gradual release
Now be a man and flash the factory image

Make sure you flash the factory image and not the OTA file
It will wipe your device clean , but fresh install is better
People who took the OTA are reporting slower performance etc; I did a clean install and it's been better (so far ....)
I don't want to trash the whole thing. That's why it's called an update... indian software, smh
come on a wiping wont kill ya
But yeah Nexus fanboys say "we get updates first lulz !!!!! HTC and Samsung lulz! we are hipsters wearing Movember mustaches "
Well you got your update alright, but it's buggy as
OEMs and carriers do a lot fo testing before releasing the OS updates, that's why it takes longer
It's a Google Nexus 7... there's no OEM or Carrier... this is the effing official Google tablet
No you got me wrong lol
Im not talking about how long its taking right now on Nexuses, but the fact that OEMs update their devices months after the Nexuses
FTFY
And even then, it can come out a buggy piece of still.
I feel left out
Of course it's not always smooth
But holy , those who took the OTA update on the 2013 N7 are reporting WIFI issues and video playback fail
Now that's very bad
Never had those issues when getting OTA updates on HTC and Samsung devices; and I'm ok with the bloatware tbh, I like the extra features
And stock Android is so basic that users end up downloading a lot of apps. resulting in bloat anyway
I know the feeling
Just got it on my nexus, I like it so far.
Drachen sighting wow!
No problems here with 2013 N7. Then again I flashed the factory image as I came from a custom ROM
Yup factory image here as well. Non issue
Do the animations lag in other stock devices? This has been pakitech's biggest gripe about the Nexus 6, aside from the pink screen when you set the Nexus 6 brightness to the absolute lowest.
Once in a while on my 2012 N7 but nothing annoying
On more powerful devices a software patch will fix it
Got the OTA for my Nexus 5 today. It's fantastic so far.
Post screencaps
Looks good... I got that carousel out of the box with the Note 4. Pretty happy about it. I didn't want to long-press the home button again to bring up the task manager.
Google taking features from OEM's
Nexus fan boys saying Stock Andorid is better, yet they geek out when Google add the OEM features
pretty much the worst analysis I've seen
not an analysis
Just troof bombs
lefty still championing that TouchWiz tbh
Not TW in particular tbh
