I'm hooked, will never play normal fantasy again. Have only done one NBA one and didn't win. I'm up 300 bucks on my initial deposit of 25 bucks on NFL.
I've yet to cash out, how long does it take to actually get paid?
Anybody try this, tbh?..
I just started playing it last week, it's pretty fun..I've done pretty well, too, I've cashed every day minus one..
It makes meaningless NBA games(Eastern Conference teams) a lot more exciting to watch and following during the season..

Pretty sure Cedric is the teller.
I haven't tried to withdraw money yet, I've heard it only takes a few days, normal Paypal withdrawal process IIRC...
I'm gonna try NFL for the first time this week..
I took Cory Joseph and Baynes last night, unbelievable value, finished in the money, but Dirk killed my chances at finishing at the top..
Never heard of it but just dropped $25 to play around with it tonight. I like Sloan as a value pick against Boston.
A good method I use is to enter about 5 of the 50/50 contests where as long as you finish better than half on the entries you double your money. It is really easy to at least go 75% on these. I pretty much count those as auto double ups and then I use that money to enter the big tourney's with around 50,000 people in them with the hopes of hitting a big one. I basically play the big tourneys for free now with this method and it's worked for the two weeks I've been doing fan duel.
Been playing for over a year. I don't do that well tbh..I think if I picked the same team every night I would win. But trying to "time" the good games is tough. There is always someone who knows exactly which scrub is going to go off.
That's mostly luck IMO, there's obviously a significant luck factor involved..
Never did any kind of online better before. How does this work?
Just signed up, set up one game for tonight out of UTA/DAL, CLE/DEN, SAC/PHX to test the waters. Looks like fun.
Basic premise:
-You join matches, which range from $1 and go up for buy-in. There are different kind of matches like tournaments, H2H, and 50/50 (where you win a certain percentage if you are in the top 50%).
-You choose players from a set of games chosen from that night. It might include all games, it might include just a few.
-You are given a salary cap and you create a fantasy style team from those players (2 PG, 2 SG, 2 SF, 2 PF, 1 C). Player's salaries are higher if they have higher fantasy value (i.e. Lebron was nearly a fifth of my salary cap)
-Players score points base on stats (Point = 1pt, Rebound = 1.2pts, Assist = 1.5pts, Block = 2pts, Steal = 2pts, Turnover = -1pt)
gottdamn, thanks HH for bringing this to my attention. Makes the NBA so much more fun. I'm doing pretty well for my first night, yet to lose an entry.
I won my money back, should have stuck to my instincts, though..
I went with Cousins over Hibbert at the last second, and I had Rubio( ing left the game in the 3rd quarter)..
Greg Monroe destroyed me, too, what a bust tonight..
I've got 3 late-nights active, but looks like I'll hit all 7 of my full entries
Nice..which players were your top performers?..
Played 2 lineups in the full schedule:
Also played the late-wire games using the Rotowire app: http://www.rotowire.com/daily/nba/optimizer.htm
It looks like this:
Parsons has f*cked me every night I use him.
That has been the case for me with Lance Stephenson and Lebron, tbh..
Been playing NFL since the start of the season. Up around $200 from $25.
Tried out the NBA tonight and got schooled. Probably because I played 2 tournaments.
What do you play in NFL? Not tournies?..
50/50 head to head for the most part. It varies though
I dominated my NBA tourneys tonight... beginner's luck I guess. Put up $23 brought down $61.50
Get Mo Williams tonight if you want good value, Rubio is out
Just signed up and got into three nba compe ions tomorrow.
