NFC has a good chance to have several 11+ wins teams, which is crazy, and there's a solid chance that the AFC is going to have 5-6 teams that are going to be battling around 10-6..there's a pretty decent chance that 2 of Pittsburgh/Baltimore/Miami wins 10 games and still misses the playoffs..

This is one of the most compe ive seasons that I can remember, tbh..

Oh, and a 6-10 team could win the NFC South..pathetic..

I think I'd be shocked if the Saints win 8 games, tbh..

7 wins is a lock in that division, and there's a chance that 6 wins it..I'll go with 7..

Dallas on the outside looking in. That win against the Seahawks is their only saving grace right now...they're 2 games behind in conference losses to Seattle, Detroit. They lose on tiebreakers to AZ and SF.

more than half of AZ's drives die within 4-5 plays. that murders your defense which was already thin on injuries. even if you aren't scoring, having sustained drives is a defense's best friend.

its the same story that we saw in the Denver game. for the first 20-25 minutes that game was up for grabs and was within a possession. they picked off Manning twice, forced a few punts. but iirc they had 8 or 9 consecutive drives last for 4 plays or less and the defense started to give up huge plays to demaryius. i dont think its a coincidence

They remind me a lot of the Panthers and Bengals last year: fluky good regular season but everyone knew that they were never going to be a threat in the postseason.

Man, those KC and HOU losses sting even more now...should be sitting at 9-3, but oh well. Our hopes basically hinge on 2 possible, but unlikely scenarios:

1. We beat GB in Buffalo 2 weeks from now--gonna be a tall order but the RWS crowd will be rocking louder than it's been for the past 15 years.
2. Denver loses one of their next 3 games and NE runs the table--therefore giving BB a legit excuse to rest his starters in Week 17. NE losing this week actually hurt the Bills.
