I'm still open.
I guess I just don't take this stuff serious enought, I can some of you do.
I'm still open.
I love Glen mixers tbh especially the Hobart style. How much is it going for?
I think if you're going to spend the money anyway, you might as well just buy the Hobart. Why buy a Glen when it's just a copy of the original?
Wasn't the original discontinued after the issue with stuff leaking out it's rear port?
Don't get a new one. Get an old Hobart. Those things never stop. You can kick the out of 'em and they still keep coming back. Stubborn, but tough.
You have to be careful with them though. They appear to be rugged but avoid the Glen, it's a piece of .
You're telling me... I think there's just something inherently wrong with the wiring in those things. You want them to mix, they knead. You need them to knead, they mix... And the noise... they never shut up.
Don't forget the recall for the wiring melting down.
I am interested in a truce with maalox.
They go through a lot of kneading though, constantly kneading. I'd say the Glen model of the Hobart kneads more than any I've seen.
I read that was a false report, that it didn't actually "melt" per se, but that the manufacturer was trying to drum up some interest in the model by recalling parts that didn't really exist.
Every time My Glen model Hobart acts up, I take it to get repaired... Guess what? There's nothing wrong with it. Then I get it back to the kitchen and it starts up again with the same . It's almost like it's lying... it is old though... it's an old liar.
I eventually pulled the rear plug on it and took it to the shed, punched it's box a few times and left it out there.
I made passionate butt sex to the mom of a Glen Hobart machine.
