I got a letter in the mail a few weeks back about jury duty. Tonight I was to call in and see if I have to appear....whew..nope~~~~
But....I've been called in a few times in the past. Why don't these people write us all a letter asking what would be as good time for us instead of..... what you're doing, get your ass down here or else.....that is a approach.
In that letter make it real clear while you get people are busy they also get you will have some time you can spare, and if you can't come up with that time then they will.
It's real easy to get out of being on a jury here in central Cali. When the judge starts.....ok so what are your excuses?
Behind the curtain which is always an option......I've been coming down here once a year for over 30 years, and it's always the same guy more or less, a Mexican who did something stupid. I have to be totally honest which is what you want, no way can I not be bias.
