Yop. Although I've stated my dislike for Jon Daniels before, I have to thank him for getting Preller recognized so the Padres could hire him. Guy is single-handedly making the Padres relevant again.

The longer this Scherzer thing goes the more hope I have that he'll be back with motown, especially if that 6/144 is still on the table (with Ilitch it usually always is)

Scherzer turned down 144 mill in March, and apparently since then, the Tigers stopped negotiations with him. Good riddens, Scherzer is good but not 200+ good.
