Reds manger Brian Price was thrown out of today's game before it even started.
He got into a argument with the home plate ump when he was taking out the lineup
cards for today's game. It was thought he was still pissed about calls from Fridays
game.....

Over the years he has always said he never did that. Does anyone care anymore? Even though

John Smoltz at his HOF ceremony said that parents of young ballplayers should
not let them play year round. All the young players with "Tommy John " arms is
just out of control and should indicate something is wrong in the training.....
I agree with that. Smoltz was a guy who excelled in different sports all year long. He's talking about the parents who have their kids play baseball year long which is re ed, especially if they pitch year round. Baseball isn't meant to be played year round. I fully believe that's why we're seeing numerous Tommy John surgeries compared to the 80s and 90s.
Huge trade for the Royals acquiring Johnny Cueto for just 3 decent prospects. They finally get that frontline starter and now allows the rest of the rotation to fall into place. They were already the favorites to coming out of the AL, but now this trade makes them clear favorites and allows them to matchup better with the NL teams who have frontline aces.
