I like 7" because they're cheap and easy to carry.

    Yes sir.

I was thinking about buying an iPad Air but its just not practical as a tablet. Went with the mini and I'm very happy about it.

7-inch screens are pretty much dead and gone, with phones starting to hit the 6-inch size more and more often now.

This is pretty much a result of consumers saying that they don't want to have to lug around multiple media consumption devices when they're out and about.

I can stick the 7" Nexus in my pants pocket though (lol gots who have huge cases for them). A 10" tablet would be a pain in the ass to carry around; might as well just have a small laptop then.

The iPad Air weighs 1 lb though. And the laptop costs a lot more from Apple. So yeah the 10-inch iPad Air would be ideal for me. I don't know how you can fit a 7-inch screen in your pocket. To me, the 7-inch is too big for a pocket and too small for movie watching.

I agree a 7" tablet would be ty for watching movies. I just normally use mine for internet, email, reading ebooks, and playing quick games for a few minutes.

I would think the 10-inch would be better for the internet as well. Games may be a problem for the 10-inch. But I'm not too big in action games with the touch screen. A laptop is $300 more. I'll stick with an iPad ($600) with a bluetooth keyboard which is only $20.

I've watched a couple of movies on my N7.
The size is fine for that imo

I think it's just a matter of how you use them. I don't really take the tablet out of the house, except when traveling, in which case it just goes in my backpack.

For day to day, I use my phone (or just computers, since I have them all around me all day).

That's why this kinda questions are difficult to answer, tbh...

Yeah a small lightweight backback is great for carrying an iPad places. One of those hiker backpacks is perfect. 6.5 ounces.
