That efficiency, and less than 3 turnovers. 2 Blocks for the cherry on top
the dumbest ing stat in the game. Lets measure greatness based on the aesthetics of 10+ . A 54/9/9 game would fall short. Good for TD though, at his age it reflects a well rounded game and still being able to play at a high level.
^That's a bad example all around considering people would be ing themselves over the 59 points more than anything, the triple double
10 is a significant number because its the basis of our entire mathematical system.
same reason we have 10 commandments, and not 11. just ask carlin
Impressive statline considering that it's backed up by efficient shooting and a 5:1 assist TO ratio..and at that age..
Player of his generation just doing what player of a generation do, nothing to see here.

Good point. People put a ton of emphasis on the triple-double, its cool that TD got another one but if AD with for 40, 15, and 9 blocks people would say "AD with a monster game and a near triple double "
I Lebron had a game similar to that a few seasons ago and it made headlines because the triple double was rescinded. I agree with his point though.
Didn't Kobe also have a triple double the other night, and another one the right next game? So, Triple Double counts of the season:
Kobe: 2
TOSB Duncan: 1
Kobe is a triple double threat everytime he steps on the floor, tbh. He's got the double digit points and missed field goal attempts covered basically every game. When motivated, he can easily get the ten rebounds, turnover and/or assists to complete the triple double.
