this is ironic....in a spat of poetic justice how funny would it be if the Spurs were battling the Lakers for the 8th seed at the end of the season....I would just flat out fall on the floor in uncontrollable laughter.......this slide by the Spurs is amazing....
The world champs are leading the woeful Lakers by only 7 games...they're in the 7th play-off spot right now.....man one more injury or one more unlucky break like the Lakers have been getting the past few seasons and it's on like donkey kong....

Trying to compare how ty the lakers are doing and thinking the Spurs will reach that type of erry this year is hilarious.
That said however, I had no idea the Spurs were actually in 7th as of today. That's really terrible.
Good news is that 1, Warriors and Memphis won't hold those spots the entire year. They'll both fall off some. And 2, the Spurs have a good cushion on the 8th seed and the nearest and real compe ion are the Thunder. So not too worried about them not making the playoffs.
The issue is that this Spurs suck and won't go long once there.

they're tanking to avoid OKC in the first round imho. Spurs would rather take Warriors or the Guest team in the first round over OKC, tbh.
