    24/7 reporting Texas has offered CB Benjie Franklin of Alief Taylor. He is supposed to attend Junior Day on Saturday.

    Could be legit but it's a long ways from signing day. To me it sounds like a young man still bitter that Texas held off on offering for so long. We shall see.

    It got off to a really bad start, but distribution is much wider now and if we can get football turned around then it may end up working alright after all.

    I'm not even sure what the guy's role is, but it's an odd deal (even if he were a huge Texas fan).

    Oliver seems to favor LSU and then Houston because his former head coach is now on Herman's staff.
