    What he says:

"Honestly, I think I was actually shooting too much, I think I got to do a better job of trusting my teammates more. I am not saying I don't, but consistently trusting them regardless of what is going on, regardless of the time, score and possession. Just find a way to trust them and let them make some plays as well." -Russell Westbrook

    Shows up... lol.

Enrique has 4 rings and a Finals MVP. Russ has an AS game MVP because no one else played.

If you call that showing up, you're more ed up than is already obvious.

    4 rings thanks to Tim

And any average can win FMVP against and a crappy Cleveland D and Gibson
Again, Duncan was the difference maker in the series, anchoring the D and drawing double teams

ESPN posted an article today literally calling him the most dominant offensive player in NBA history.

    The hype machine rolls on.

This guy would be in the same league as Marbury,Francis, Baron Davis if he had to carry a team for a full year without having Durant to help.

That's exactly what he is, a roided-up version of those guys

I have pretty much compared him to those guys in my previous post. He's exactly the same type of player that those guys were but except like you said a roided-up version of them. That is why I'm not amazed because just like those guys he makes boneheaded decisions and once his athleticism wanes in a few years will be garbage. What separates him from those guys is he has had the luxury of playing with Kevin Durant.

No it's valid. A negative impact with a triple double.
Bonner usually has a higher +/- than most on the Spurs at times so I see that stat as utter ing tbh. You telling me they are better or even close in this game without him and his TD tonight?

They are the hype machine as you said, just living in the moment or game to game and forgetting the players in the past who were incredible and more efficient on offense than Westbrook is. Better than Wilt or Jordan? Wilkins? Come on now, they are full of . BSPN I call them for a reason.

It just means he is doing positive things to help the team. It depends on minutes played though. Westbrook handles the ball way too goddamn much to end up having a negative effect on his team. It is a helpful stat. Westbrook had a triple double and his defense wiped out the effectiveness of that, combined with his number of shots.

+/- is an indicator of what you are or are not doing well that particular game.

He is a gift and a curse at times, all the talent in the world but takes dumb shots alot of times as well. He can have very bad shot selection, yes I agree. I agree on the D too.

The stat though is misleading at times, if you have some bad players on the court with you etc., that will skew it alot. I agree with what you said though.

Like I said it is misleading at times though, not the best stat IMO. I look at other stats first and then go to that secondary at times.

Many Thunder fans on there forum are freaking out thinking Westbrook has a fractured cheekbone/concussion and will miss some extended time.
