ghost protocol was amazing... i won't stop watching these
Ghost Protocol was the only one I've ever seen and it was good. This looks like it has potential. Awkward ending tho
One really doesn't need to bother with the first 3. Just act like Ghost Protocol is the first movie.
Agreed. One of the few franchises that seems to have improved with time. I'll definitely be checking it out.
It's best not to think of this series in terms of plot or characters at all; they are merely vehicles to show Tom Cruise running and dangling off things.
As such, they're quite good.
Unsurprisingly, it's sitting at 93% on RT. I'll probably check it out tomorrow afternoon.
I thought 2 and 3 were great. IMO, the first was the weakest but all the others are worth watching.
despite being a crazy man off camera, cruise's recent films have all been good, imo.
Edge of Tomorrow was fantastic, Oblivion was pretty good. jack reacher didnt get a lot of hype but it was a really good flick. rock of ages was entertaining and had a great cast and soundrack. cruise was pretty good in there and he could actually sing. ghost protocol was awesome too.

I still like the first and third one too. The 2nd movie was a piece of though.
At this point, shouldn't they change the name to Mission Possible?
It's re ed. I feel if you've seen one Tom Cruise movie, you've seen them all. All he does is ing run/scream/rinse/repeat.
I will definetly check it out this week. Cruise works too hard to produce imo. He's crazy but I admire his work, same with Mel Gibson.
I even like part2 even though it is the tiest. Like my friend said as we left the theater, it felt like a Chanel commercial.
still each one has let the directors show their own style. MI has been one of the most consistent series I recall.
It was a solid movie. I thought the villain in this movie was great.
I thought the first one was good, but that is it.
I saw the movie and I would recommend it! lots of action. a car chase, a motorcycle
chase, lots of fights, shoot outs and Tom hanging off the side of a real airplane
.....good summer action movie......a 9.5..........

Jack Reacher is a Lee Child creation, he is 6-4 240 poubds of mean. Why they cast Tom Cruise in a role that all those who know who Jack Reacher is will.....huh? Is a...huh? But...he made it work.
I enjoyed it. Right up there with Ghost Protocol.
6/10 on this latest one.
Too many long drawn out low brow hand to hand fight scenes. Yawn.
The water scene had potential but then the goofy losing the card then miraculously getting it back.
