Sure, but you at least know with the iPhone that Apple is involved in the process. Nowadays with TVs and these kind of electronics, you get the feel that they just stamp a brand sticker on it and ship it out. Samsung and Sony (in very few cases) might be the exceptions here.

I probably would have jumped on this, but I just ordered a new monitor. Got that at the last second for 449, saw it went back up to 600 today
