Finn Jones was cast only a year ago iirc. It's painfully obvious that he wasn't given enough time to get all the fight choreography down given the quick camera cuts, heavy stunt man usage, and disjointed feel. I really don't know what was done differently on DD, or how much of it was actually Charlie Cox, but that show looked so much better.
Daredevil's fight choreography is the best I've ever seen in a TV show.

Hatchet Crew, irrc. But yeah, I immediately thought of DD scene as well. Shame it fell that far short of that.
But it would suck if every Marvel Netflix show copied DD fight scenes tbh

yeah hallway scene was insane, too. but the chains in the stairway fight were in amazing. there's one where he wraps the chains around a dude's neck and drags him over the rail

i thought the first 8-9 episodes or so were actually pretty good, much better than a lot of the reviews were giving it credit for... but episodes 10-12 were pretty ing awful and very slow. it's almost as if the writers thought they only needed 10 episodes and suddenly realized they were under contract for 13.
the last episode was kinda cool, but the ending was very unsatisfactory.
still think overall it was better than luke cage, which for the life of me i cant understand why it got good reviews
Iron Fist kinds of sucks overall. I'm with you on the first handful of episodes. This show failed hard at choreographing the fights. They were boring.
They tried to do a couple of the hallmark Daredevil hallway fights and it looked so ty.
Tbh the asian chick is the reason why I kept watching.
The only solid series out of them all is Daredevil. I quit halfway with Jessica Jones and never even bothered with Luke Cage.

Consensus is daredevil #1 and I agree. Season 1 is elite.
IMO, the rest is Jessica Jones, iron fist, luke cage.
Luke cage got a bunch of hype that I never understood while watching the show... And iron fist got slammed in reviews that after watching the show I didn't think was fair.
Daredevil and Jones had great villains. The others, not so much
