Overall, I liked it, but I did find some of the stuff in it re ed. First and foremost was Will Simpson's doctor telling him he can't have the red pills, then simply leaving the pills on the table for him to use. There's also Jessica not realizing that Kilgrave can't control her until late into the season, even though he gave her several commands earlier that she did not follow. There's also the Kilgrave support group straight up attacking Jessica Jones for absolutely no reason solely so the show can let Kilgrave escape yet again. They go from "Jessica Jones knows something that she is hiding" to attacking her on sight, no questions asked. And Jessica's father is also a , because he takes his eyes off the road to scold her even though a stationary truck was in his direct path.
I like Jessica as a character; the creators really failed to make here some deeply flawed antihero, because she was fairly altruistic from the beginning. The show was just too focused on Kilgrave, who could have been taken out five episodes in, and the only excuse it uses is the girl Hope (whom I did not give a about).
