Agreed, though if Splitter really is getting healthier I could see the Spurs taking games 5 and 6. He's the real X-factor.

    Only half agree...

Win and you win the series....totally agree with you. We're not losing 3 straight to the Clippers.
Lose and you lose the series....We've already won one game in LA....what makes you think we couldn't do it again?

I dunno about that. I think a Game 4 win would obviously put a ton on pressure on the Clippers... a loss turns this into a 3 game series...

So this is a great opportunity for the Spurs, but a must-win for the Clippers...

Game 4 win, Spurs win the series no question. Game 4 loss then its a toss-up but with the Spurs still favored because Clippers have no bench and aren't meant for winning battles of attrition.

game 4 is a must for the clips, but a "golly gee it would be great" for the spurs

I agree, the ideal scenario would be to win game 4 at home. Lose 5 in LA and wrap it up in 6 at home. Clips will probably win in 7 if they win game 4.

It's been 12 years since they changed the first round format to a bo7.

    Try to keep up.

Nope. Lose doesnt define series. Win is game over for Clippers. They wont win 3 out of 3 vs Spurs

I just don't want us to go back to LA with the series tied, TBH. Finish them off, ASAP.

If Spurs lose and it becomes a best-of-three series with the Clippers having HC for two of those games...not a good situation for us. We could do it, but it sure would make it harder.

We need this one. The Clips HAVE to have this one.

Can't wait for it to start.

Really depends. I'm really buying the spurs always play at 80% opponents must get to 90%.

The story this far is that the clippers have less talent overall. There only possible remedy is for cp and Rid both need to be playing at maximum effort for a whole game. The spurs have bigger faster and more wing defense than thre clips have offense.

That won't change if the spurs lose g4.

Game 3 again saw the spurs miss a ton of shots. It's just as likely that this afternoon is a massacre from beyond the arc rather then kawhi Jordan.

But, maybe we shoot poorly again and doc finds a way to confuse kawhi, and Chris Paul doesn't lose his cool. Maybe clips win. The burden of effort though is on the clips and anything they show tonight will be countered. The spurs smell blood I'm sure

All you do is agree with OP. I can't think of a single time when his opinion wasn't exactly the same as yours. I figure this is just a troll account, which would be sad that someone would make a fake name just so it would look like people agree. If it's not, and you care enough about basketball to be on this site all day, you should probably look further into the sport, and develop your own opinions.

    edit: typo

My guess is that Red and Paul will both play with some desperation this afternoon, and lots of shots will be going up from each of them. Question will be how the game is called relative to our wing defenders. Green and Leonard's defense can stop those two IF the refs don't get one or the other in foul trouble.

Today's game is huge...a best of 3 series with LAC having the first and last games at home would not be a good scenario.
