One of the best players I have ever seen but injuries crippled his career. Not having won a Champions League hits his resume too, tbh. Before some of you brings the "lol hypocrite, you defend Messi for not winning the WC but knock on El fenomeno for not winning a CL" comment, bare in mind that the CL is played everyfricking year and if you're such a great player sooner or later you're going to play on a big enough team to have a chance to win it. Not winning a Champions league le is like never ringing on the NBA, tbh.

But don't get me wrong, after Messi probably the best my eyes have ever seen.

    Ronaldinho was another "what if"

Lazy got took his talent for granted

Probably the most spectacular player I've ever seen... the things he did in an actual football game ... other players do it during practice lol

And one of the only 2 Barcelona players to get a standing O at the Bernabeu, the other one being DieGOAT Maradona ( Messi)

R9 is not a what if though...

at least not in a sense that he still regarded as one of the best players ever and the best number 9....Ronaldinho is a real WHAT IF

R9 is a what if, but in another context; he is already an all time great, but what if he didnt have those nasty knee injuries? Could have been the GOAtest?

Don't be hating on Ronaldinho now, guy wasn't even trying half the time but still dominated. World cup, champions league, Ballon D'Or. Yeah he might've ed up by joining Milan but still top 10 greatest talent at least.

top 5 arguably, top 5 no way. was just a journeyman in 1994. Dude hadn't achieved any significant success on the international stage except the 02' world cup, and even fewer to speak about since he left Barcelona for Apennine Peninsula. He did win something with Madrid, but the time was spent in the shadow of Zidane. R9 was probably a top 5 of his time, but it's laughable to put him that high on the all time list when the likes of Pele, Maradona, Beckenbauer etc... are all included, tbh.

Platini never did either and both are considered better than him by most "studiers" of the game.

Platini was better in world cups. Sure you can add Cruyff thou. He did make the WC Finals.

Platini did not win the WC due to the german goalie turning that French forward into ground meat to prevent a goal TBH
