Not sure what sense made selling Higuain, Ozil and Di María after winning la décima. Barcelona has kept their core, accepted the contract shenanings to bring Neymar, then took a gamble with Suárez which both paid out. Sometimes the most talented players are weird.

Most importantly, the TV contract is more evenly distributed. In past seasons, Grizmann would have been a gonner, but this time Atleti will keep him. Atleti and Valencia are building new stadiums, almost as big as Barça and Madrid. Seville has had unprecedented success at Europa League, a part from all the prize money, they will get a good kit contract.

That was a terrible mistake, Madrid had good chances of winning la copa. Plus all the revenue lost from 4-5 additional games.
