What does that mean for George Hill?
It's great for him. Takes a lot of the creative responsibilities out of his hands, it'll be like playing with a manu again.

Ed David isn't great, but as an mle player he would have been solid for a complete spurs team had they not decided to dump an incredible player like splitter

Sources: If Mavs miss on DeAndre Jordan, it's expected talks with Indiana on Monta Ellis-Roy Hibbert centered sign-and-trade will happen.

‏@JMcDonald_SAEN Should Spurs miss on LMA, don't discount a trade for another big. They'd have space to absorb a contract at that point.

Nothing, the other team would get a big trade exception. Okay, not nothing but basically nothing: a top-59 protected pick.

Manu was one of the most exciting player to watch in the league, you can't compare...

But you're right about Hill needed an offensive SG, Hill-Ellis backcourt sounds really good. They will help to restore a balance between offense and defense in Pacers' perimeter.

Hibbert is awful and a Hibbert-Duncan frontcourt would be an embarrassment, tbh..

Hill-Ellis-George is a nice backcourt, tbh..desperate for bigs, though..

Obviously I'm in the minority here, but I wouldn't mind a Hibbert/West package deal if LMA chooses to go elsewhere. I could see Hibbert returning to All-Star form after practicing against (and getting tips from) Tim Duncan every day. West has stated that he's willing to join a contender (specifically mentioning the Spurs) for a lot less and he's obviously good friends with Hibbert and has defended him on his way out of Indy. I know that this isn't ideal, but I'm not sure what other options are out there.
