Are they excited over there? Counting their rings yet?
Oh, yeah, started the show like somebody died. As soon as Chandler came down they perked up. When it was revealed that he was in the meeting with LMA, they started yelling. Now, Bledsoe may be on his way out of town, they're skipping commercial spots to keep talking.

Admit it, you'd be slightly pissed if Bledsoe gets traded.

Tyson at $52 million is a good deal, but to get Aldridge they'll need to salary dump Bledsoe. I'm pretty sure Cleveland would love to take him for Haywood though.
    Or the morrii...

I don't think they'd want them, Cleveland is pretty deep in the frontcourt but could really use some players capable of creating their own shots. Bledsoe would be a best case scenario for them with Haywood's deal.

    Morrii/Tucker/Goodwin and either Cleveland 1st/Miami 1st or Phoenix 1st/Bogdanovic.

Present this to Blazers and say, you can net some productive frontcourt players at two positions of need longterm for just 12 per year plus net three prospects/1sts and trade Aldridge to Phoenix or let him walk for nothing to San Antonio.

Uh that's great, but he's a free agent and the spurs just opened a gash of cap space. All Portland can do is wait and see who he picks

No. Portland can be proactive, since they own bird rights and can sign him for a year more for more money. Similarly, in the Suns sign/trade scenario, that extra year and total of money matters. Yes, Spurs can outright sign him to a 4-year MAX. Via Sign/Trade Suns could offer 5-year Max, and offer Portland a bundle for Aldridge. Spurs aren't offering 5-year Max, nor helping Portland recover with multiple 1sts and quality-priced young players.

So, yes, Spurs are in drivers seat, but both Portland and Phoenix can offer more money, more years.
