Think of all the BUCKETS though!
SWISH!
If keeps shooting the 3 at 50%ish I'm happy, let me be very clear on that. Haha.

SWISH!
What has surprised me big time is his playmaking ability, kid has a really good feel for the game

can this guy get upgraded from a roadside tent?!
A lot of us saw this coming pretty much immediately after watching him in the summer league (and some before that in Europe) You could just tell he wasn't afraid and had NBA ready skills and very impressive athleticism. Love seeing it come to fruition
Don't be afaid for his physicality son, he's used to bang on FIBA play where the game is a lot more compressed and physical.
And tore his knee twice.
In my way of seeing things, that would be "injury-proness", not "lack of physicality". Lack of physicality, imho, is what Splitter (and now, sometimes Aldridge) displayed on offense with his timid offensive moves. Being soft, tbh.
Anyone who understands a little of the basketball knows that it was an unfair comparison
Loved last nights aggression
Im impressed with his decision making
The bounce pass to Murray in the lane >>>>>>>

Davis Bertans is only the second rookie in Spurs history to hit 5+ three-pointers in a game. Gary Neal holds the record with 6 in 2011.
Davis with 1.505 points per shot.
Maybe. He needs to get stronger and continue working hard.
I would love to see Bertans be an option against GSW. If Pop decides smaller in the starting lineup.
Gives the Spurs a ton of spacing between Green-Leonard-Bertans with Parker and LMA potientially being able to score effectively with pick and pops.
Warriors would have problems protecting the rim with Durant guarding Bertans or Leonard. Green would be away from the basket and it would be hard to trap or switch because it would leave Aldridge open from 18 feet or with a mismatch (Thompson)
Who would you have Davis guard in that scenario? Green? He might be ok on Draymond....
He's going to be legit in a year or 2 when he adds some weight.
Offensively he's at 69% TS.
If he gets the strength to rebound he'll be an allstar once Gasol leaves.
We should seriously consider trading Patty + Anderson + Simmons to get more minutes for Bertans and Murray
He has been damn impressive offensively. I hope he continues to take advantage of his opportunities overall.
What did you think kawhi Leonard was going to be when he was drafted?
He's already legit.
And he doesn't need to add weight -- this isn't 1990 where post play and post defense is critical. This is 2017 where most offense and defense is initiated from the perimeter. He needs to maintain or optimize the mobility he has as much as possible - gaining weight just decreases mobility. If anything, he needs to add strength but not necessarily weight and there's ways to do that ( I.E -- workouts with a lot of reps but not necessarily a lot of weight.
this
He is one of the best shooters in the world (even before he coming to nba), he is ready to make impact
