Brees perfect so far in the first quarter against the Pats. 8-10, 159 yards and 2 TDs. Saints defense held Brady to three 3 & outs. Perfect start overall.

Welp...nothing has happen as far as the QB's go for Houston. On a positive note, the defense held Peyton scoreless without Watt or Wilfork.

- Bridgewater looked sharp. After some early jitters
- Carr threw two beautiful deep balls. Cooper hauled one in for 40 and roster bubble WR seth Roberts dropped what should have been another big ball completion.
- Latavius Murray looks legit at RB. Trent Richardson doesn't belong on an nfl roster
-Khalil Mack is an animal, but we still have no other edge rusher. Tuck is old and 2nd round pick Edwards is more of a run defending end or a 3-tech tackle.
- raiders stout against the run but DJ "heart surgery" hayden was getting picked on relentlessly. Our corners are a serious liability and imo have to play more aggressive. Get some big plays and give some up. Otherwise teams are going to methodically work their way down the field every time, especially in a division with manning and rivers
pats looked godawful as per par. I would be shocked if we don't have the worst secondary in the league this season.
Interesting take I found:
Would make sense...especially if he truly is trying to find a starter. I still think they can potentially challenge for the division on the strength of the defense alone. The Colts have added weapons, but they will still struggle against Houston as the Texans pass rush is going to face rape that mediocre Colts OLine. Houston's secondary will also be one of the best...if not the best in the league. This will make pass rush even deadlier and will offset some of the weapons added by the Colts on offense.
i think the raiders are definitely in contention for that. DJ Hayden was getting picked on all night, and he was our first round pick 2 years back. our best corner right now is a 2nd year player taken in the 7th round last year. charles woodson is getting old(er) and we're starting Nate Allen

I hate all these people complaining about injuries in "meaningless preseason games". Nelson's injury could have just as easily happened in practice - was totally non-contact.
