that Elliott Smith reference
Who else besides redzero and I think Cuban sucks is watching this?
that Elliott Smith reference
Never even heard of it.
Show is incredible.
Lolololololololol
Far and away my least favorite episode yesterday.
Is this like a doc brown and Marty mcfly cartoon spinoff?
Missed the last two eps tbh. What was so bad about it? Feels or just poorly written?
Marriage counseling was good
Tiny Rick was okay
I didn't even remember the recent episode until watching that clip posted [Lil Bits]. The plot was really shallow and the corkyness was more miss than hit. I don't even remember how it ended
was this supposed to be funny or is it some kind of social statement......
Yah that episode was forgettable
I can't believe I just discovered this show. It's amazing.
that scene that everyone fawns over where Rick "tries to kill himself" is so contrived and labored, he has plenty of ways right there to get the job done easily. Just do it Rick!
also, why does the show almost seem like live improv? despite that being impossible, since it's animated.
anyways, there's something about it, it's the only show I want to watch when I sit down to watch some TV...
That's the point. He does not want to really kill himself, thought that was obv
Much of the dialogue is improvised, that's why you can hear 'em laughing esp in the TV episodes
right, it was a fake, but a lot of people took it seriously and thought it added depth and genius to the show.
but how can it be really improvised when the animation takes time to complete? are they that lazy?
Animation def takes longer but I'd assume they have a brainstormed skeleton to every episode like any other show, but then freewheel certain lines as needed.
I mean you can actually hear roiland laughing in the 2 brothers skit.
I don't mind it. I think Rick and Morty is one of the most well written shows bar none. It's great.
What about the pet he kills in that scene?
July 30th, ots. Be there, or be square.
Hopefully this will make up for a hit or miss Veep and Silicon Valley season.
Calling Silicon Valley hit or miss is being nice. It was downright bad imho. Major dropoff after season 2.
It got very formulaic.
Supposedly this time, the major season ending turn is going to stick. That being said, it can't go past another two seasons.
