LOL that is already up on nosteam
Any you preorder and get it week early? I got it on pc and I'm loving it so far. It's such a drastic improvement from last year it doesn't even feel like the same series.

How is the performance? I heard 2k15 was a stuttering mother er when it was released, but it works pretty well for me now.
You mean 2k16...
I haven't played it yet but one thing I hope they work on is the speed of off ball movement on sets and plays.
It takes forever to go through a signle horns options for example..often times, the sets aren't even sets anymore..just single plays.
Hope they fix this one in the future

2k15 ran horribly for me(constant stuttering) so I was a bit worried but it runs smooth as so far. I'm using the ali crack off kickass btw
I'm gonna buy it though because I've heard the servers are actually good this year.
Bro, this game plays way better than any 2k I can remember. It's better than 2k11 ad that used to be my holy standard of modern 2k games. The new footplanting mechanic has improved the game so much. I also don't feel sucked into animations all the time either.
It's like skyrim with basketballs 9/10
Will swing by my local pirate supply store and pick it up later
Yeah, it took ing forever to get sets started in 2k15, I got bored with the game really quickly.
The Spurs are pretty weird... on the XBOX 360 version, they're ranked 1st, 1st, 1st... on the PC version 1st, 3rd, 1st...
Now all the gots are going to run with SA online
Wow, 2k16 looks worlds better than 2k15 graphically.
Probably a case of different development teams working for the older platforms
I don't think the Spurs should be #1 defensively tbh. Even #3 sounds high to me. Wing Stop is awesome, but without Tiago Splitter guarding pick and rolls and with Enrique getting torched like 2001 Derek Anderson I don't think the Spurs should be #1 on defense.
I replayed the 1st game against OKC like 12 times, both to warm up and to get a feel for the new game... Enrique getting destroyed by Westbrook
Told you, I was in awe... the pre-game show thing is kinda ty, but the players look amazing, and the crowd too
Downloading now..
The floor with all the little scratches on the logos and in the paint is really impressive too. 2k15 had this ty looking fog in the stands too that has been completely done away with. What's also impressive is my framerate is like 5 fps lower than it is on 2k15 with patches from months after release while unpatched 2k16 runs really smooth with some tweaking and with much better image quality. I wasn't expected a night and day better looking game, but 2k16 delivers big here vs 2k15. I haven't tried setting SSAA above 1 (e.g. off) and probably won't touch it since it looks so amazing at 4xMSAA. The only time I ever get a performance drop below 60 fps is in the pregame show when the logos flash across the screen.
I turned down multisampling from 4 to 2 and notice zero difference. I like also they don't overdo the replays...
Yeah, I don't even notice a difference between 2xMSAA and FXAA in the vast majority of games. The only game I'm confident I could tell the difference if you changed settings while I wasn't looking is GTA V, where some of the NPCs walking the streets look a little jaddedy on FXAA but don't with 2xMSAA.
What the did they do to Kawhi? He looks like he's 15 years older in this years game
To be fair, look how much Matt Barnes aged Josh Howard too.
Anyone playing this for PC? How does it look/play? I was going to get PES 16 but Konami decided to over the PC crowd.
Graphically it's an enormous improvement over 2k15 for PC and runs just as well. If you're playing on a 60 Hz panel with a 290x you should easily get 60 fps locked with MSAA maxed out and perhaps even downsampling from 1440p. I have only played a couple of quick games and haven't really tried to run an offense yet against the highest difficulty setting, so I can't give any impressions on the AI yet. But the player models look better, the floor is much more detailed especially in close ups and replays when the camera zooms in, the crowd looks better, and the fog from the stands was removed. I was never impressed with 2k15 graphically even on PC, but 2k16 I am extremely impressed by, especially since it runs as well as 2k15 did after they fixed the stuttering issue the game launched with.

Love it... graphics are amazing, and gameplay is very good. I'm on my 10th game of the season...
Spurs on the post = unstoppable.
