Anyway, that fight has amazing shots to the head from guys with real punch power. Basically two power guys two excellent chins. Fight to draw. Luckily unlike boxing this wasn't the main event it depended on to bring in new blood.
PS the fight before ended with a kick to the jaw and a flying knee for the knockout. Worth the price of admit.

I know one thing, I'd rather take 50+ jabs from Mayweather throughout a fight with boxing gloves than one punch from Roy Nelson with MMA gloves on.

Why do they need to wear spandex?
1) It makes it harder for your opponent to grab you, a lot of fighters that wear shorts have their opponents illegally grab them. The refs usually dont catch it
2) It's also the official UFC reebok gear which has been a disaster
Sounds like grown men going out of their way to find reasons to wear spandex.
