If Central Florida pounced on Baylor a couple of years ago in the Fiesta Bowl, what makes you think other strong teams in AAC couldn't do the same? Baylor has no defense whatsoever, exploits a weak out of conference schedule as well as a terrible lower half of the Big 12, and gets exposed by quality teams when it counts.
