Level 1. Rub some dirt on it and quoted some macho John Wayne bull and carried on. Pain went away instantly.
Level 2 Sore, pain lingered for a day or two but did not stop you from walking or going anywhere doing anything you had planned.
Level 3. Moving around gingerly, had to be careful how you moved and what you lifted.
Level 4. Moving around gingerly, lifting and/or twisting out of the question.
Level 5. Moving around awkwardly. Slowly, but still moving
Level 6. Moving around awkwardly. Cannot hold anything in hands so you are able to grab on to rails, coffee tables etc for support.
Level 7. difficulty getting up or down.
Level 8. Bed bound, able to crawl to can and back. considering chiro/accupunture/ER/hospital visit or buying some Demeral from mouse. (That may have come on earlier levels too.)
Level 9. Bed/couch bound. Unable to walk to can. Using urinal.
Level 10. Wife or husband freely offering sex and you must turn down due to inability to move.

Feel free to add your own descriptions and level(s).
i generally am at a 6-9 on the a pain scale.

I have Degenerative Disc Disease ( a fancy way of saying that i have back arthiris) Its a ing pain. I can't sit down for more than 20 minutes without my back stiffining up. I can't sit in a car without a back pillow and i constantly try to crack my back hoping to losen it up. It hurts under my shoulder blades but also in my lower back.

I stretch and use a roller and take an anti inflamatory but best case is probably a 5.

I've had back issues since elementary school, i'm in my mid 20's so this doesn't bode well for me going forward.

If you're Blake you better never reach level 10.

I'm not inferring you are, but since on Troll Talk one never can tell....
Have artificial discs and/or surgery been an option? I'm neither for nor against just trying to see what relief has been offered.

I've seen a doctor (not a back specialists) and she suggested stretching and losing weight she also gave me an anti inflamatory (basically a stronger version of Alieve it helps a bit) . I dropped about 25 pounds and stretch about five timess a day. Neither really worked. If surgery is suggested then i'd seriously consider it.

I've forgotten how it feels to have 0 back pain. I would think there would be some type of shot that i could get that could help but haven't looked further into to that.

Probably level 4, but with my tolerance to pain, behaved like level 1 or 2.

If you're under 30 something, you shouldn't have back problems that are so extensive you cant even move. C'mon
I ruptured a disc at 20 playing college football.
