Suns are awful, but they are finally seeing what they have in Goodwin.
He's 21 and just put up 20-7-4 vs Westbrook.
They seriously need to trade Knight and/or Bledsoe.
Just let Goodwin and Booker play 30 minutes nightly for next two years.
Sort it out after you give them a legit chance.
What did you think of 12 putting up 6/25?
Going to be interesting who gets the 8th seed between Utah/Portland. One team will probably win about 45, the other like 42-43
They are going ok, imagine if they had a decent offensive threat up front? Does anyone know of a player like that?
I don't do "12." I leave that to you children.
The word is out on Booker.
Word is out on the youngest player in the NBA?
I'm not worried.
Me too. Well, I'm less worried than I was.
The kid is good, he just needs to stay healthy.
& evolve. If he can't evolve, and then re-evolve he's dead meat. Get a body bag, yeah.
He has a jumpshot and a high basketball IQ. He's shown maturity at 19 years old, I think we have ourselves a keeper. Sky is the limit for Booker.
I got my fingers, toes, & countless pubics crossed that it ain't so. I want him to auger in from about 5,000 feet.
He's the only hope to cling to with this dreary organization.
Body contortion by be your only hope. Suns suck, but are giving serious play to the youngest backcourt duo in NBA history, where each has scored significant totals and notched career highs in recent weeks.
Gonna have to see.
Can't wait for Knight to return and slip a monkey wrench in there. And they can't keep him out forever. Knights agent won't brook it.
And if that doesn't do the trick when stinkpot Bledsoe returns in October he'll reestablish the pecking order and I should be right as the mail.
All true, plus Sarver is always good for a WTF?!
But, Sarver's cheapassery may actually see this thing through since both are the value right now, both are young, exciting, likeable, and are own draft picks, so they feel homegrown to the community.
I'd expect a huge sell off this offseason when everyone will have money and there simply will not be the talent to go around. The friendly contracts of Knight, Morris, Chandler will look pretty nice in the upcoming arms race.
Maybe even Bledsoe.
They'll have to take the safety off the gun,,,and I do not believe they'll be able to make themselves. They want to keep all that , + new . They love it.
Probably.
But as a Suns fan, it's my only hope for Goodwin/Booker backcourt.
Goodwin can't play PG, JM. No way. You could put Knight or Bledsoe there, move Booker up front, then put Goodwin at SG.
I sort of agree, though I think Goodwin has a good bit of Wade to his game.
I'm not a fan of Bledsoe or Knight as PG, as both are ball dominant.
If I had to pick, I suppose Knight, since in theory he can shoot.
Or see if their pick this year can net them a good shooting PG who doesn't need the ball to be effective.
Knight is Austin Rivers status when he's running the point
