My favorite for the Spurs range. Right now he is the 37th on draftexpress going to the Rockets.

One of the sleepers of this year's draft. He really elevated his game from his rookie to his sop re season, definitely a riser. I wouldn't be surprised if he is taken in the 1st round pick after the draft workouts (a la G.Hill).

20 y/o, great size for a Guard (6'7), lanky/slim body (reminds me Will Barton). Long arms, pesky defender. almost 4 steals per 40. He shot around 37% from deep during his 2 seasons in UNLV, but he can shoot. Decent mechanics (Chip could definitely help here) and good elevation, he just needs more consistency with his shot. He is also a very good facilitator.

I know most of my Spurs fellows want a PG prospect (I agree we need one), but I think this guy has a higher ceiling than Morris, Payton or Trimble. Not many videos about him on youtube though, so I'll share one of a few that I found.

Ryan Miller ‏@CoachRyanMiller 2h2 hours ago Good luck to @22gang_ as he worked out with the @spurs today. Is there a better 2-way player in the draft?

Good to know that the Spurs are taking a look on him

Hopefully he lasts until the 29th pick and they grab him.

    29. San Antonio Spurs—Patrick McCaw (SG UNLV)

Physically, McCaw isn’t there quite yet and needs to add 15 lbs to his frame over the next couple of seasons before anyone takes him seriously, but the defense is already there thanks to his length, and his three-point shooting could be an almost immediate plus for the Spurs.

CSN NE: NBA Mock Draft Version 6.0
by A. Sherrod Blakely [less than 24 hours ago, AKA 29-30 May 2016]

    29. San Antonio -- Patrick McCaw, SG, UNLV

A very raw prospect with exceptional physical tools (he's a 6-7 guard with a 6-10 wingspan), do not be surprised if McCaw spends a year or two overseas or winds ups spending most of next season in the D-League.

I like this guy. He could replace Green something fierce. He brings much needed versatility and slashing at the 2 position as well as still being able to hit the 3 at a decent clip. That plus defense seems solid so long as he isn't switched up. The fact he can get small on screens to fight over it will be huge. I really hope the Spurs pick up this guy. He can handle the ball a bit too. This guy may be too good to be true.

He looks good, if nothing else may help make an end run for a great point guard.

I can't think of a ton better within Spurs range. I would be more than fine with this as the pick.

Watching the 5 on 5 scrimmage portion of the NBA Combine on ESPNU a few minutes ago, eye test: I really liked the way he moved on both sides of the court.

I like this kid a lot. What scares me is his frame. Will Barton may be the only person with this body type that comes to mind as overcoming his physical deficiences, and it took him 4 years to break through. As far as wing prospects go I think I prefer Bremby and Beasley over this guy.

He is impressing a lot in summer league, looking like a steal.

Kid is looking like a steal.

He's going to make Livingston expendable. Warriors weren't going to re-sign Liv anyway this upcoming summer when he's a UFA.

Now with McCaw ballin', Warriors will be able to trade Liv & Looney for needed frontcourt depth.
