AMD tbhI gotta admit, AMD's R5 1600 looks like it's the best gaming cpu for ~$220. Those two extra cores really help it out with minimums in games now, and I would definitely buy a Ryzen 5 system over an i5 based system. They're still not i7 when it comes to gaming, but if you don't want to spend $300+ on a cpu Ryzen 5 looks like the way to go. As of right now it really looks like there are only four cpus that make much sense for gaming:
1. Budget - Pentium G4560 for $60
2. Midrange - Ryzen R5 1600 for $220
3. High-end - i7-7700 for $315
4. Enthusiast - i7-7700k for $350
