10 days ago, I bought a Samsung 32" S32D850T 2560 x 1440 monitor. My two 24" monitors one either side of it was just... off balance. Today, I bought two more identical monitors. Not hooked up yet, but I don't have time right now either.

I now spent some of the money for a gaming computer I had set aside, so I'll, do that later. I think I'll be happy with just the Dell XPS 8700 and it's upgrades, at least for now.

    Ouch...

    $1,500 for three monitors...

If you're trying to play any graphically intense games be prepared to drop another $1400 on two GTX 1080s man. I'm not even sure if that's enough for triple 1440p.

It doesnt make sense for companies to invest 100+ milliom dollars on pc gaming anymore. Wouldbt surprise me if you guys get less and less games

I recently put in an overclocked GTX 950. All three monitors are happy at full resolution. Just set it up earlier this morning.

    Think about it.

If two of the monitors are just idle, and one is doing intense graphics... what do I lose? Maybe 5% graphics capacity?

So to recap.. You bought three 1440p monitors to have two of them shut off in idle?

Not at all. If I needed the extra speed I can use it. I'm saying the GPU isn't doing much on the monitors that have nothing else what the wallpaper on them. It hardly effects the one monitor in use.

So what are you using the extra space for?

    Wow...

It's a world of difference. I like having multiple do ents and reference materials open at once. It is not a waste for what I do.

Sorry you all are so small minded and short sighted, or don't have a life beyond games.
