There was quote from Jay Bilas that if we didnt have stop watches, people would be saying Jesse Owens was faster than Usain Bolt.

All professional athletes are MUCH better than their historical counterparts....except in basketball, right?

That stupid behind the back pass turnover from Curry with 5:16 left really unraveled the Warriors' offense.
I wonder if he EVER lives that up.

I've always said that the way the Warriors play isn't the way to win Championships. Just chucking up bad home run type three point shots and actually have them going in - I've never believed in winning that way. I love that they learned that lesson in game 7 of the finals which was the last possible game of the season, thus making them wait a whole year to maybe rethink that approach.

What's even funnier is that, that's the same type of shot Cleveland used to get over the hump to win the game and Championship. The Basketball gods, teaching hard lessons out there in game 7 .
GS lost in part b/c they stopped playing to their strengths. A pull-up three by Curry in that position was their best shot with Iggy injured. Curry let the moment get too big. He was a REGULAR SEASON MVP.

    Not sure what this proves.
Westbrook played bad and I am not defending him.
But like the Wilson INT's or Messi's miss he was trying to make a fundamental play.
A behind the back pass near the sideline in tie game with 5 minutes to go ...is just ...dumb and the opposite of fundamental.

Are you defending his play by saying Westbrook is worse? Ok, you win!
    A couple of things:
I have been one of the biggest Steph supporters the last few years but dumb is dumb
Westbrook is not the two time MVP or even the one that supposedly had surpassed LeBron.
Even though there were still 5 minutes left it just was inexcusable for Steph to turn the ball over like that.
Although a scoring PG, he is still a PG your primary responsibility is ball protection.
Both PG's failed, westbrook worse so ... but that was not the Finals.

Right up there with Prince's block of Miller in 2004, and Splitter's block of Wade in 2014.

Klay's expression is perfect as he watches the LOB fly out of bounds.

OK one of those doesn't belong. Prince's block was to save a game. Tiago's was to go up 20.
