In the song....El Paso....by Marty Robbins, if ya remember our hero shoots a guy over a senorita. Then he dashes out the bar, he finds a good horse, who looks like he can run.........hmmmm? He didn't own a horse?
'sup Avante, how you like this tune?
Marty Robbins was legit. I always thought Jay and the Americans ripped off the story.
I have no speakers, ha~~~ I loaned them out to my daughter, have them back in the morning.
I have a feeling that will be right down my alley.
I can see that, the Mexican bar, the senorita.
I'd mix those two in with Bryan Hylands Gypsy Woman.
I probably wouldn't mix Jay with Marty Robbins. In fact, if I'm listening to Marty Robbins, I'm happy just to play his full albums. Talk about creating a mood and capturing a time. It's like reading a good western novel in a few minutes.
Speaking of choirs....
I have never listened to a record, tape or CD from start to finish. I don't want to listen to anyone for more than a few songs, then moving on. Yes, I come back to the record, tape, CD and will eventually hear it all. I like to mix.
Yes on reading a western novel and Marty Robbins. His...Big Iron...perfect.
My fav Marty Robbins.
Come on. You grew up in the era of records and then tapes. You can't tell me you didn't go buy an album and listen to the whole thing.
I always bought a number of records and tapes. I'd jump around and come back a few times before listening to everything....unless...it was a compilation. I have listened to those in one setting. I prefer variety so I have it.
Records and CD's to a tape mix, that is my thing with music. My own little production and it's done with some theme.
Day Of The New
Strays
Godsmack
Black Country
Kings of Leon

Grant Lee Bufalo

See how it goes?
That was outstanding. I need to find more.
Little people, it really is funny watching how ya act over this. I do have fun with it.
Bob Hayes is the fastest athlete*** to ever play NFL football, his World Record 10.06 on a dirt track in 1964 the superior time. Now a lot of people know that.
So while at Florida A&M he ran on the school 4x1 relay, who can tell me who his teammates were? Two of them played football and the other was the first guy to beat Hayes as HSers. THAT...sort of thing is what seperates Avante from everyone else.
*** Tennessee's Leonard Scott's 9.91 the fastest 100m ever ran by a footballer, BUT...he failed with the Steelers.
I haven't heard anything quite like it yet
heavy is the head that wears the crown
ain't in the truth brutha...ain't it the truth
SFS why is it you can't answer anything you are asked, well?
Like what? I’ve proved myself time and time again.
