Only a mediocre franchise like Memphis hamstrings itself giving above average talent like Conley a huge contract. They'll regret that contract after this season, IMHO.

No I never did. After Parker made him look like a middle schooler in the 13 WCF, I knew Conley was a fraud on defense. We all already knew he was always garbage on offense.
He is the reason you guys lost the series that one year to the Thunder blowing a few games. He has hit some shots here and there but honestly they were about to go up 3-1 and he started choking and also blew another game later to eventually lose in 7. I remember that well.
BTW that contract is ridiculous for a guy who is not a superstar, wow. I like Conley but he is not going to lead a team to a le and that contract is for the elite.
Conley was atrocious defensively last year. He can run an offense that revolves around other players though..largely because he's a better spot up shooter than Porker.
150 million for conely though..God, talk about overpay.
