Rockets: Houston Needs To Reach Out The Lakers

The difference between Lakers fans and the rest of the leagues fans is our fanbase is so demanding that it puts pressure on our front office to constantly try to make deals to contend. Example: Look at the Rockets after the Paul signing. Everyone knows that Paul is not enough to get past the Warriors. Adding Melo makes them close... makes them very close. Yet, there are no threads on here from Houston fans coming up with scenarios to land Melo. I can tell you guys for a fact... the players, agents, and sportswriters read Spurstalk. Melo is clearly against going to play with Lebron, else the Kyrie for Melo trade would have happened. So this leaves Melo to Houston as the only option. The problem is Houston doesn't have the assets to please NY in a trade. Nor can Houston afford to deplete its team to require Melo.

This is where the Lakers and Houston can help each other greatly with possibly the help of a fourth team. We need to get rid of Deng. You could actually use him to come off your bench. We would be willing to give you a future 1st round pick to make the deal happen. You could then take Arizas and throw a few first round picks to NY to land Melo. Everyone would be happy.

The only way you get Melo is with draft picks and expirING contracts. We will give you a future 1st and Brewers expiring contract. But you have to take Deng. Take Brewer, Aria and 2 future rounds and Melo is yours.
